How to merge all duplicate contacts with one click

Gmail is my favorite email service, it's not because it's a Google porduct; but for its' great feature. The last one is merging all duplicate contacts with one button.

This is extremely useful for people who have thousands of contacts (like me), where managing them becomes a headache. Gmail offers lot of tactics to help you do that.

In your contact page, you can search your contacts. I filter my contact email with domains and then build lists and put the corresponding emails in their lists. It's easy with Gmail contact manager interface. Just type "@gmail.com" and you'll get all gmail emails.

Gmail contact manager also allows you to export and import contact. Importation is fantastic, the manager fetch the file (whatever type it can be) and extract emails, the export tool is also easy to use. The nice thing, is that I can export single lists intead of the whole contact book.

Switch to Gmail if you plan to manage a large contact list!
